confabulation series

“confabulation refers to the production or creation of false or erroneous memories without the intent to deceive, sometimes called "honest lying". alternatively, confabulation is a falsification of memory by a person who, believes they are genuinely communicating truthful memories”

my confabulation series is an exploration into what we remember and why. by focusing on particular details while forgetting larger ones, the imagery wavers in and out of reality and gives itself over to the viewers interpretation, not the truth.
